Building Teams, Expanding Skills, and Setting the Stage for 2026

October has been another progressive month for Human First, marked by continued growth and development across our team and services. We’ve welcomed several new, highly experienced staff members from the local Ballarat area — each bringing valuable skills and fresh perspectives to strengthen our collective capability.

We’ve also been invited to join a number of complex care teams, further cementing our reputation as trusted, competent providers in this specialised space. This recognition reinforces our ongoing commitment to supporting participants with diverse and high-level needs through professionalism, compassion, and collaboration.

Recent staff feedback highlighted a shared interest in contributing to group programs — opportunities that foster social connection, community participation, and skill development for our participants. In response, Human First has begun laying the foundations for our very own Group Program Initiative, set to launch as a pilot in November and continue through to the end of the year. This pilot will help shape a larger, ongoing program in 2026, bringing our values of inclusion, growth, and innovation to life in a group setting.
